Hi, I’m Dragos Crintea and these are some things about me.

I wrote my first program when I was 7 years old, and I remember it as it was yesterday. I made a small turtle graphics program that drew a square on a black and white screen. You cannot believe my excitement to see it.

From that moment on I was hooked. Later in my life I went to do a PhD in physics but my passion for computers stayed. Early in my life I decided that I want to build systems that help people get better at what they do best.

I'v also been excited to share what I know. This is why I started in 2015 Frankfurt Data Analytics meetup. At that time I was fascinated by Predictive Analytics, and using data to build a better world of tomorrow. I wanted to learn all about it and share my knowledge.

In 2015, AI as a field was a blip on the radar and word2vec was the "thing" to talk about. Fast-forward today and the world has completely changed. To better or worse GenAI is here and it's making its mark.
